Explores topics in the structures/compositions, chemical reactions, reaction mechanisms and kinetics, reactor processes of homogeneous/heterogeneous transition metal catalysts currently used in industryial chemical transformations. Lectures include quantum chemical calculations of reaction mechanisms through important reactive intermediates and transition states involved in chemical reaction pathways.
